Impact Assessors is an established firm of independent consultant motor engineers and assessors. Their clients hold them to measured service level agreements, so any interruption to email, phones or systems has a direct commercial impact. The team needed to work effectively from home without losing access to the tools they rely on.
We moved the firm’s email to Microsoft 365 and set up secure remote working for every employee, supported by an integrated cloud phone system. To protect against outages, we designed a resilient setup with multiple internet connections from different providers, an uninterruptible power supply and a portable phone system. We now manage all of their computers, telephony and network devices, both on and off site.
Staff can work from home or the office with no interruption to service, and the firm meets its own SLA commitments with confidence.

Chamonix Estates provides local estate and property management services from a converted barn in rural Hertfordshire. Standard broadband couldn’t deliver enough bandwidth, and the business needed a phone solution for up to 30 people that their existing provider couldn’t offer. They also had their own on-site IT and needed expert back-up, plus a dependable disaster recovery plan for their Microsoft server.
We arranged a rural broadband service using long-range wireless technology, delivering speeds that simply weren’t achievable over the local copper line. That gave the office enough capacity for a VoIP phone system for the whole team. Alongside their in-house IT, we provide third line support, and we designed a robust disaster recovery solution for their business-critical Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint services.
The team has a phone system that works reliably from a rural site, and critical email and files can be recovered rapidly if the server fails.

Arthritis Care is a national charity with over 90 staff across offices in London, Glasgow and Belfast, plus home-based field staff. Its full-time in-house IT function had become an expensive, underused resource, and staff with very different levels of IT confidence needed responsive support wherever they were based.
We were appointed as the charity’s outsourced IT department, placing an engineer on site in London three days a week and making regular visits to the regional offices. Staff and management regard us as their IT department: we’re trusted to make decisions on IT spending, maintain all of their systems, advise on departmental software and deal directly with suppliers on the charity’s behalf.
The charity replaced an underused in-house function with responsive, UK-wide support at excellent value, and has kept Outsourced IT as its IT partner for over a decade.

“Arthritis Care has used Outsourced IT for over 10 years and we have always found their services to be professional, reliable, effective and excellent value for money. As a UK-wide charity with field staff in diverse locations, it is essential we use an IT support service that understands and is responsive to our staff requirements, needs and differing IT abilities. Outsourced IT fulfils these aspects and many more.”
Di Gornall, Director of Fundraising and Supporter Care, Arthritis Care
